Amazing app with even better customer support!

Absolutely in love with this app and the developer team. I use Button constantly as I am new to macos, but am quickly picking up new shortcuts without even thinking about it thanks to this intuitive app! I also want to shoutout the developer team who have been absolutely incredible. I had an issue where I couldn't remember how to access the settings and reached out expecting to get a reply in a week or so. Within a few hours I had gotten a response! And not only that, they then took my forgetfulness as a sign that the app could be improved and shipped an update a day later that addressed the exact issue I was having! I could not be more impressed and will definitely be using this app for years to come!

promising app

this app is well designed and easy to use. The supported apps are limited, and It requires additional purchaces in order to support apps like word and photoshop… Since I am a designer I am hoiping he will expand into Illustrator and other Adobe softwares.

it is a great start for an ap but it still needs to do some expanding in order to be a better app.

Hey kadeka2,
Thanks again for your feedback and review in 2017 😃. We just updated the app to support 130 apps, a decision influenced by feedback like yours. Enjoy the update, and we'd love to hear what you think we can improve next 💪

Good but could use improvement

This app is great as a shortcut finder & saver, but it has some major flaws with the setup process that make it frustrating to use.

when I downloaded this app, there was no way for me to access the settings until I bought the subscription. After I bought the subscription I could change settings, but I couldn't get back to the main app until I quit it.

You should take notes from other menu bar apps and have an option at the bottom of the app or maybe with a ⌘ click that will allow us to change the preferences, which open in a full size window that you can close. It is a more familiar format that is easier to find and exit. Also, the popup that tells you about the upgraded version has super low res small text. It would be nice to have a larger text option for the whole app.

Despite the clunkiness of setup, this is actually a much better shortcut app than most. I mostly use the help menu to search for commands since it can search the entire menu bar, but this is a very nice way to save the commands I use the most. If you have some common things you do that you can never remember the shortcut for, I'd recommend this app.

Hi erc eld, the new update makes settings easier to use. Low res text was fixed a few updates ago too. Thanks for your input, hope to hear from you again soon. – Austin
